A playdate with sweet friends

A few weeks ago we got together with my friend, Katie, and her kids (Ella-Ann is Anna-Kate's dear friend from church). They live on the other side of town which requires a full day playdate (and I'm not complaining about that!). As always, Katie and I had the best time chatting--talking Disney and marveling at all of the weird tendencies we both share--hilarious (and so refreshing to feel so normal, ha!)! The girls grabbed hands and skipped/ran to EA's room about 7 seconds after we walked in the door and we only saw them a couple of hours later to feed them. It was so sweet! They have a strict "no boys allowed" policy while they are playing, but thankfully, Ryan and Rane played pretty well and Jack just sat there happy as a clam.

Rane--isn't he cute?

Ryan LOVED the toy on the refrigerator. Of course it makes a lot of noise. He pushed it forever and would stand up and dance to it. So funny!

Of course, the girls played dress up the whole time. Plenty of outfit changes occurred as well. My favorite part was watching them dance. Anna-Kate proclaimed she was the princess since she was short and they had their hands appropriately on each others waist/shoulders and "waltzed" at the ball. Too funny and so sweet! I love that Anna-Kate has such a sweet friend at church!!

Thanks again, Katie--we had a blast and we're looking forward to lunch soon!! :)
