It just keeps on giving

Anna-Kate came home from school sometime in early December with a joke she learned from a friend {this is also noteworthy because she likes it when people laugh at "her" joke, but any other time people laugh--even when she's legitimately funny--she freaks out and gets embarrassed}.

She first told it like this: "what does a raincloud wear under his raincoat?"
Me: "I just don't know"
AK: "THUNDERWEAR!!!" and then explodes into hysteric giggles {which made me laugh so hard}.

So, she began telling the joke often {at least once a day} and then she and Ryan {always anxious to be the center of attention with people laughing at him} began putting their own spin on it...

Ryan's favorite: "what's rain say? FUNDERWEAR!!!" {definitely need to work on his comedic timing}

We've also heard random renditions that include whatever piece of furniture, article of clothing or toy in eyesight and some made up word. But, it always comes back to the underwear somehow.

It should be noted that ryan says, "Funderwear!" not thunderwear.

So cute. David's favorite is the knock knock with inturrupting cow, which turns into all sorts of animal noises when he tells it.
